We are excited to have a new member on our media team! Mrs. Lindsey Tanner, our former computer lab paraprofessional, will be our new media paraprofessional! Lindsey has a lot of experience with technology and with the public library, so we look forward to having her in the library media center. She will be valuable to our library media program!
I'm excited to announce our reading theme for the 2017-2018 school year is "It's 'Mo' Time! Read 'mo' books!" This theme is in reference to the famous children's author Mo Willems. Many of you probably know him for his famous "Pigeon" books and stories with Elephant and Piggie. We look forward to reading "mo" books this year in our library!
Wow! I'm excited about a new tool for teachers and students! It's called Symbaloo, and it's located in the menu at the top of our website pages. This tool, called a webmix, has tiles located on a grid. On each tile is a website, and all you have to do is click on the tile of your choice. Very simple to use! I'll continue updating our library website throughout the summer, so keep checking back...you might see something else new!
Happy Reading! Love, Mrs. Bryant
If you'd like to see how much fun our Millionaire Readers and Word Goal Achievers had for meeting their word count goals in reading this year, go to our LES Library home page to view the new videos. Our Millionaire Readers took a field trip to the Georgia Aquarium and our 1st-3rd graders had a Library Lock In! Happy Reading! Love, Mrs. Bryant
The reading theme for the LES Library Media Center next year will be "Read S'More Books", so all Bulldog Readers..."Read S'More Books" over the summer! Happy Reading! Love, Mrs. Bryant
The media center will be closed until 12:30 p.m. each day during the week of April 21 due to CRCT testing. Thank you for your cooperation.
